Flow assembly line for tires (1982)

Automated flow line for assembling radial truck tire carcasses.

The line consists of 7 operating machines, a transport device, assembly drums with lifting and lowering mechanisms, carriages for feeding cord and sidewall layers.

Workers perform the following operations.

Application of the first, second and third cord layers.

Automatic compression of cord layers, fender seating, bead processing.

Application of bead metal cord tape.

Cutting and duplicating cord layers.

Transporting the workpiece.

Automatic rolling of tire parts.

Application and cutting along the length of sidewalls fed in the form of continuous tapes from the feeder carriage.

Application and rolling of bead rubber and fabric tapes.

Turning of bead tapes over the bead toe.

Mechanized removal of the tire carcass from the assembly drum.
