The theme of the program is dogs in our life.

The main directions of the conversation are breeding and protection of animals, including homeless people and those suffering from cruelty.

The issues of official dog breeding and training of guide dogs for blind and visually impaired invalids, problems of keeping and veterinary support of animals are also touched upon.

Visiting the host of the 1st vice-president of the Russian Society for the Protection of Animals Vera Ivanova Maksimova and geneticist Sergei Alexandrovich Morozkin.

The program uses survey data on the streets, in the places of walking and sale of dogs, excerpts from feature films "White Bim Black Ear" (1977, director Sergei Rostotsky) and "The Heart of a Dog" (1988, directed by V.Bortko), the cartoon "The Big Secret for a Small Company" (1979, directed by Yu.A.Kalisher).
