The theme of the issue is a person reading.

Undeniably, the main wealth of our country is its culture. "Love the book - the source of knowledge", "The book is the best gift" - these words are known to everyone from childhood.

Do you remember how difficult it was to get good books?

They could not be bought.

We recorded in the queue in libraries, spent hours in reading rooms, handed over trash to get a subscription for the purchase of a particular book, friends and acquaintances gave rare books for one night, and yet, no matter what, we were the most reading country in the world.

Now you can easily buy any edition, there are no prohibited writers and forbidden topics.

But can we now claim the title of the most reading country?

What do we read?

How do we live, and most importantly, how do our libraries survive today?

Do they need people and who are their readers?
