An all-Union raid by members of the "Komsomolsky Spotlight", revealing facts of production and sale of low-quality products. Sale of defective sports equipment in a sports store. Interviews with citizens about their purchase of low-quality goods in stores. A queue of people at a TV repair shop. Production of obsolete shoe models in a shoe factory workshop. A factory quality control worker checks finished shoes. A shoe store merchandiser rejects low-quality shoes. Members of the "Komsomolsky Spotlight" detain workers who have stolen products from the industrial enterprises where they work.
