The film tells about the development of such a sport as beach volleyball in the Soviet Union. The film uses the following footage: a volleyball match at the sports arena in Luzhniki, a view of a deserted volleyball court in the Central Sports and Recreation Center and the Gorky Olympic Complex in Moscow, a game of volleyball on the sea beach in the vicinity of Borisov Ponds in Moscow, and the public relaxing on the shores of the Baltic Sea in Estonia.
