The film tells about the work of the singer T. Petrova. The film uses the following footage: photographer V. Plotnikov in his studio working on a photo portrait of T. Petrova; artist G. Pavlov in his studio painting a portrait of T. Petrova; T. Petrova performing at a club in front of villagers (synchronously), visiting relatives in the village, conducting a lesson with her student (synchronously); recording of one of the songs performed by T. Petrova (synchronously) in a recording studio in the presence of arranger Yu. Klepalov; conversation between T. Petrova and the film's director A. Vasiliev on the deck of the ship "Russia" (synchronously); T. Petrova in a church in an abandoned village; the funeral of the singer I. Talkov; demonstration on Red Square; rally on Lubyanka Square; fragments of the high relief of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow; T.
