Smolny Institute in Leningrad

Winter 1977. USSR. Leningrad. One of the buildings of the former Smolny Institute for Noble Maidens. Russian revolutionary Vladimir Ilyich Lenin and his younger sister Maria Ilyinichna Ulyanova visited the dormitories of the delegates of the Third All-Russian Congress of Soviets of Workers', Soldiers', and Peasants' Deputies, located in this building, on January 11 or 12 (January 24 or 25, new style).
