Monument of Friendship of Peoples in Tashkent

October 1-26, 1982. USSR. Uzbek SSR. Tashkent. The Friendship of Peoples Monument, which immortalized the feat of the family of Shaakhmed (Shoakhmed) Shamakhmudov and his wife Bakhri Akramova, who adopted 15 children of different nationalities during the Great Patriotic War and three after the war, the work of sculptor Dmitry Borisovich Ryabichev.
