USSR. Novgorod. June 10-15, 1974. The Victory Monument, unveiled on January 20, 1974 to mark the 30th anniversary of the city’s liberation by the Soviet Army. The monument was created by People’s Artists of the RSFSR, sculptors Georgy Vasilyevich Neroda and Angelina Nikolaevna Filippova and architects Alexey Nikolayevich Dushkin and Anatoly Ippolitovich Saykovsky.
