Railroad disaster following gas pipeline explosion in Bashkiria

June 4-7, 1989. USSR. Bashkir ASSR. Relatives of those killed at the scene of the crash of two oncoming passenger trains No. 211 Novosibirsk - Adler and No. 212 Adler - Novosibirsk on the Ulu-Telyak - Asha section of the Kuibyshev Railway in the Iglinsky District. The accident occurred on June 3, 1989 at 23:14 Moscow time due to an explosion of liquefied gas due to a leak in the Western Siberia - Urals - Volga Region pipeline, laid one kilometer from the railway tracks. According to official data, 575 people died in the accident, including 181 children, 623 people were injured. The exact date of the filming has not been established.
