October 1986. USSR. Ukrainian SSR. Kiev region. Special point for decontamination of outgoing vehicles on the border of the thirty-kilometer exclusion zone after the accident at the V. I. Lenin Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. On April 26, 1986, a radiation accident occurred at the fourth power unit of the NPP.
