USSR. Moscow. September 4, 1987. Citizen of the Federal Republic of Germany, amateur pilot Matthias Rust, found guilty of hooliganism, illegal entry into the USSR and violation of international flight regulations and sentenced to four years in prison, his mother Monika Rust and brother Ingo (left to right) after the final hearing of the Criminal Cases Panel of the Supreme Court of the USSR.
