Monument "Tent of the First Builders" in Magnitogorsk

December 1-15, 1977. USSR. Chelyabinsk Region. Magnitogorsk. The monument "Tent of the First Builders", symbolizing the tents in which the first builders of the city and the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works lived, the work of sculptor Lev Nikolaevich Golovnitsky and architect Evgeny Viktorovich Aleksandrov at the entrance to the Magnitka Veterans Park. The monument consists of two sculptures: a hand holding a piece of iron ore, and a tent, installed on a slab with verses carved into it by the first builder of the plant, poet Boris Aleksandrovich Ruchyev.
