Celebrating May 9 in Moscow

Actress of the State Academic Maly Theater of the USSR Elena Mitrofanovna Shatrova during a meeting with former pilot of the "Maly Theater - to the Front" squadron Aleksandr Andreyevich Batizat as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Soviet Union's victory over Nazi Germany in the Great Patriotic War. On June 8, 1944, 12 Yak-9B aircraft with the inscription "Maly Theater - to the Front" were presented by the theater's actors to the 1st squadron of the 909th fighter aviation regiment, which fought as part of the 3rd Belorussian Front.
