A house on Spartak Street with a memorial plaque reading: "Here in August 1905, the outstanding builder of the Bolshevik Party and the Soviet state, Yakov Mikhailovich Sverdlov, lived illegally, and in the pre-October period, there was an apartment of the Chelyabinsk Bolshevik organization."
