State awards of the USSR

USSR. Moscow. Medal "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945", established by the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on May 9, 1945. The medal was awarded to all military personnel and civilian employees who served during the Great Patriotic War in the ranks of the active Red Army, Navy and NKVD troops. Viktor Yankov/TASS
