Russia. Saint Petersburg. The entrance to the Ploshchad Muzhestva station of the Kirovsko-Vyborgskaya Line of the Saint Petersburg Metro, closed after an accident in the transfer tunnel. As a result of a quicksand breakthrough in the tunnel on the night of December 3-4, 1995, train service on the section from the Devyatkino station to the Ploshchad Muzhestva station was temporarily suspended until the new transfer tunnel was put into operation.
