Association of peasant farms "Vozrozhdenie" in the Amur region

USSR. Amur Region. Ivan Shepelin, a former builder of the Baikal-Amur Mainline, farmer, working on his farm on land allocated by the Rodina collective farm in Ivanovo District. The Rodina collective farm was divided into peasant farms and small enterprises, the owners of which united and created the Vozrozhdenie peasant farm association. The Shepelin family, who had returned from the BAM, was given housing, land, pastures and hayfields to rent, and they, with the money they had earned on the BAM, together with another similar family, built a pigsty for 50 animals, a summer camp for cattle with equipment for milking cows.
