Study of chronic effects of low doses of radiation on bees in the experimental apiary of the Department of Radiology and Reclamation of the Scientific and Technical Center "Pripyat" in the thirty-kilometer exclusion zone after the nuclear accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant named after V. I. Lenin. On April 26, 1986, an explosion occurred in the fourth power unit of the NPP during equipment testing during the reactor shutdown for routine preventive maintenance.
