All-Union mourning for those killed in the train crash in Bashkiria

The flag is lowered on the building of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR in the Kremlin during the All-Union mourning for the victims of the crash of two oncoming passenger trains No. 211 Novosibirsk-Adler and No. 212 Adler-Novosibirsk on the Ulu-Telyak-Asha section of the Kuibyshev Railway in the Iglinsky District. The disaster occurred on June 3, 1989 at 23:14 Moscow time due to an explosion of liquefied gas due to a leak in the Western Siberia-Urals-Volga Region pipeline, which was laid near the railway tracks.
