Research vessel "Vityaz"

USSR. Vladivostok. The research vessel of the Institute of Oceanology of the USSR Academy of Sciences "Vityaz" leaving the Vladivostok port on the 49th expedition voyage, headed by oceanologist-geomorphologist, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, Professor Gleb Borisovich Udintsev. The expedition will take place together with scientists from the USSR, Japan, Australia, France, the USA and will visit Australia and a number of islands in the Equatorial Pacific Ocean, including New Guinea (Miklouha-Maclay Coast), the Fiji Islands and others.
