Rally of supporters of the Popular Front of Azerbaijan in Baku

USSR. Azerbaijan SSR. Baku. Participants in a multi-thousand rally on Lenin Square after a three-day strike by most of the city's enterprises. At the rally, organized by representatives of the Popular Front of Azerbaijan, the results of the strike were summed up and a dialogue was announced with the republic's leadership regarding the possibility of satisfying the demands of the Popular Front to strengthen the republic's sovereignty and economic independence and related to the resolution of the Karabakh problem.
