Monument to N.V. Gogol in Moscow

USSR. Moscow. A fragment of the monument to Russian writer Nikolai Vasilyevich Gogol by sculptor Nikolai Andreevich Andreev in the courtyard of City Library No. 2 on Suvorovsky Boulevard. The monument was unveiled on April 26, 1909 on Prechistensky Boulevard to mark the 100th anniversary of the writer’s birth, and in 1959 it was moved to the courtyard of the library on Suvorovsky Boulevard.
