On June 9, 2003, a detached wheel pair of one of the cars of a derailed electric train chopped about 200 linear meters of power cable. As a result of the accident, train traffic between the Avtozavodskaya and Belorusskaya stations was stopped, the passengers of the emergency train were not injured and were evacuated to the nearest station.
