Press conference on the results of the investigation into the accident in the Moscow metro on June 9, 2003

Demonstration of repair of wheel sets during a press conference at the Cherkizovo depot, dedicated to the results of the investigation into the causes of the accident in the tunnel on the Zamoskvoretskaya Line of the Moscow Metro. On June 9, 2003, a wheel set of one of the cars of a derailed electric train cut about 200 linear meters of power cable. As a result of the accident, train traffic between the Avtozavodskaya and Belorusskaya stations was stopped, passengers of the emergency train were not injured and were evacuated to the nearest station.
