For a hundred years of life, there were enough traces of collisions on the hull of the Commune, including traces of falling fragments of an air bomb, but the seams did not disperse, the steel did not break, only bent inward.

According to experts, modern welding would not withstand such blows and simply burst.

Salt water also did no harm.

In the manufacture of the ship's hull, a special, viscous shipboard steel was used, the secret of which is lost.

When a part was cut off from the dismantled left steering wheel, it became clear that the metal not only shone like silver on the cut, but also retained its original thickness, for a whole century there was not a trace of wear or corrosion.

The cut-off fragment was sent for research to the city of Korolev near Moscow, to the leading materials science enterprise of Roscosmos "Composite".

According to the results of research, scientists have come to the conclusion that bluing was used to steel with a high degree of probability during the construction of the ship, however, they cannot give an exact answer yet.

To date, the Commune has been included in the permanent combat readiness forces, the ship has been modernized, the latest equipment has been installed on board, almost all new rescue vehicles, including the Panther+ robotic complex, have been tested with its help.

The chronicle of the beginning of the XX century, revolutionary and war years was used in the preparation of the film.
