Gagarin became a model of a new Soviet man for everyone, and the country's leadership had its own plans for the cosmonaut, he became an excellent tool for solving issues of Soviet international politics.

If in 1961, immediately after the flight, Gagarin's trips were a kind of miracle for the world, then a year later they were already specific tasks.

At the same time, he met with ordinary Soviet people, with children and adults, and he treated all these meetings very tenderly, because he was a sincere and kind person who never allowed himself to treat people without due respect.
