Reel №1

Repair of a locomotive after a run of 300 thousand km.

Lifting repair.

Dismantling of an electric locomotive bogie.

Traction engine.

Electric locomotive depot "Moskovka" of the West Siberian Railway.

Installation of a traction engine on a flow line.

Layout of a flow line at the depot.

The flow system for repairing traction engines consists of a disassembly conveyor, an anchor repair line, a machine tool line, an assembly conveyor, mechanical workshops, impregnation and drying departments and a testing station.

A washed and dried engine is fed to the first position of the disassembly conveyor.

The insulation resistance of the windings is checked.

Commutation is checked, the ohmic resistance is measured, and the axial runout of the anchor is measured.

The condition of the anchor bearings is checked by ear when the engines are running without a load.

An induction heater allows for quick pressing of labyrinth rings without damaging the shaft.

The outer shield covers are removed, the radial clearance of the bearings is measured.

The operator controls the movement of the motors on the line.

Traction motor tilter.

The worker unscrews the bolts with a wrench.

The operation of a pneumohydraulic press is demonstrated, which presses out the shield without damaging the mounting surfaces.

The anchor is moved to the repair line.

The bearing shields are sent to the mechanical workshop on a special trolley.

The brush holders and brackets in containers are sent for repair.

The frame is moved to the blow-off chamber.

Automated process of cleaning the frame with compressed air.

Movement of the frame along the disassembly line.

The massive frame can be easily rotated by the tilter for inspections and measurements.

Elimination of deviations from the norm.

Protective sleeves are removed from the output wires.

The compound mass is removed.

The reliability of the contacts of the intercoil connections is checked at the next position.

A double hourly current is passed through the pole windings for 10 minutes.

The unit was created in the depot and allows to find overheated and repairable connections by touch.

Cracks, damaged threaded holes are detected, and meshes requiring replacement are marked.

If cracks are detected, the frame is sent to the welding section, if this is not necessary, then directly to the impregnation and drying department for insulation restoration.

Anchor repair.

The first position is an automatic blow-off chamber.

Cleaning the anchor in the chamber.

Installing the anchor on the flow line.

The flaw detector checks for cracks on the shaft.

The fitter measures the wear of the journals and the cone of the shaft.

Restoration of the journals and cone on a special machine with vibratory arc surfacing.

The voltage drop method is used to detect turn-to-turn short circuits in the anchor winding.
