Elena Yavlinskaya is the wife of a famous politician and economist Grigory Yavlinsky.

They met at the institute.

Grigory Alexeevich remembers that Elena was a bright, beautiful and cheerful girl.

Everything she said was very clever.

It was love at first sight.

Grigory sat at her entrance for days, waiting for her to get away from business and go out to him.

Two years later they were married.

We lived in a small apartment, breaking from bread to kvass.

Grigory worked as a loader, and Lena as a typist at home; Misha's eldest son was small, there was nobody to leave him with.

In 10 years the son of Alyosha was born.

And then the real test came.

Gregory Alekseevich was diagnosed with tuberculosis (as it turned out later, false).

The reason was Yavlinsky's book on economics.

All things, books, manuscripts were taken away and burned supposedly so that the infection does not spread.

One can imagine that Elena Anatolyevna had to survive with two children in her arms when her husband was lying in hospital with such a terrible diagnosis.

But they are both very strong, honest and principled people.

They were able to withstand, although many destiny sent them trials.

When Grigory Alexeyevich went into politics, Elena Anatolievna took all the difficulties of life.

Even by mutual friends he goes "on behalf of".

Despite the fact that Elena Anatolievna - the wife of a public politician and time for her to communicate with her husband every year, is getting smaller, his attention, care and love she feels constantly, he is such a person.

They are interested with each other so far, like 25 years ago.
