Actor Vladislav Galkin was born in 1971, first appeared in film at 9 years old, playing Huckleberry Finn in Stanislav Govorukhin's painting.

In total, he appeared in more than 40 feature and television films, became the winner of "Nika" and "Golden Eagle" prizes.

In 2009 Vladislav Galkin was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia.

Many young actors consider him their teacher.

On February 25, 2010, he died of heart failure and on March 2 was buried in the Walk of Fame of actors in the Troyekurovsky cemetery.

At the funeral came about a half thousand people, they all spoke warmly of Vladislav.
