Like many other girls, Svetlana Kryuchkova dreamed of becoming an actress.

She entered the Moscow Art Theater School and already in the third year was invited to one of the main roles in the film "The Big Change."

Then in 1973 she began working at the Moscow Art Academic Theater.

In 1975, on screen test for the film "The Eldest Son" Svetlana met with cameraman Yuri Veksler, for which he throws the Moscow Art Theater and Moscow, leaving behind the whole previous life, moves to Leningrad, and the next 14 years they spend together, supporting each other in the most difficult life situations.

And even after parting with Yuri life of Svetlana and her family is inextricably linked with this city and the theater named after GA Tovstonogov.
