Visiting the program four-time world champion, Europe and the Olympic Games in artistic gymnastics Svetlana Khorkina.

This is the story of a girl who was born and grew up on the outskirts of Belgorod, ran around the yards with the boys and played the war.

Trying to protect her daughter from the influence of the street, her mother took her to the gymnastics section.

Svetlana did not have any special data, she was too high for this sport, not coordinated, sharp and angular, and if it were not for coach Boris Vasilyevich Pilkin, who put his whole soul into it, experience and skill, if it were not for Svetlana's passionate desire to work, it is unlikely that the absolute champion of the world would grow out of her.

Miracles do not happen, behind successes, awards and recognition always there is a hard, really hard labor.

Svetlana believes that her real life will begin only after gymnastics, but so far she has nothing but the strictest routine of the day, fees and training.

Even with a loved one, she meets with snatches, at competitions or in breaks between them, but even this barely has enough strength. "I'm still small, I'm still only I'm starting to live, "says Svetlana, but in fact, her experience of overcoming, defeating her weaknesses would be enough for dozens of ordinary life's destinies.
