In February 1993, she was about 4-5 years old, the family lived in the area of the Novokuznetsk metro station.

One day my parents left, saying they'd be back in a couple of hours, but they didn't.

In the evening, the girl was afraid of the dark and went to wait for her parents in the subway, where she was stopped by the duty officer and took the child to the police.

Ira never saw her parents again; she remembers grandfather Oleg, father Alexander, mother's name was Lyuda or Lyuba.

The head of the 2nd police department on the Moscow metro, Vladimir Chernyshov, and the chairman of the Council of Veterans, Pyotr Petruk, tried to raise archival documents and call those employees who were working at that time, but all these searches did not yield results.

The strangest thing is that at that time, it seems, no one reported a missing child matching Irina's description.
