In Alma-Ata in the House of Scientists, a republican scientific and practical conference was held devoted to the urgent tasks of international education.
The first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan Gennady Kolbin, secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan Zakash Kamalidenov, writers Anuarbek Alimzhanov, Abish Kekilbayev, academician Manash Kozybaev.
In the hall were present Iskander Tynyshpayev, I. Vereshchagin, S. Azimov, Igor Vovnyanko, Mukhtar Shakhanov.

Kozybaev M.K. - Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Science of the Kazakh SSR, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan. Vovnyanko I.A. - Soviet cinematographer, film director, screenwriter, member of the Union of Cinematographers of the USSR, chairman of the Union of Cinematographers of Kazakhstan (since 2005), Honored Worker of Kazakhstan. Shakhanov M. - Kazakh poet, writer, public and political figure, extraordinary and plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kyrgyzstan (1993), People's writer of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Tynyshpaev I.M. - the leading operator of the film studio "Kazakhfilm", a member of the Union of Cinematographers of the USSR, People's Artist of Kazakhstan.
