She came to the Mossovet Theater in 1963 and played not many roles, but not because she was not given them, on the contrary, she very often refused.
In relation to creativity, Nina Ivanovna developed a firm and unequivocal position from her youth, she says: "You know, I am a very happy person, because I play only what I want, and all my life I played only what I want."
She managed to live all the years in the theater with a full sense of self-sufficiency.
There is no defectiveness or breakdown in it, she does not like to say that life has failed, because she played few roles in the cinema or that she had very long pauses.
These pauses arose when she herself wanted them to be.
Nina Drobysheva is convinced: it is necessary to play when it is interesting, when there is a novelty, when there is an experiment, and just play another good role with confident mastery, she has no desire.
It lights up only when it feels that there is something unlike anything or anyone in the material or the director's decision, because they love her just because she does not look like anyone.
